Breath of Fresh Air

Yay! I can open my e-mails again. This is unbelievable. I feel like I can breathe again fresh air. Okay, I sound like a nerd, but I love to talk to people online. You can connect with the entire world - and I do! (France, Germany, Canada, other states in U.S., of course). Give me Internet and coffee, and I'm a happy campter. Plus, I've got some great books! Yay again!

But I have to be brief - the computer will log off in 2 minutes. What have you found recently what you've been missing? A great book? A friend? Nice place to eat out? A new blog?

P.S. I'm trying e-books again, but I have to print them out. Kind of hard to read on the computer screen. What was your experience with e-books? Any advice?

Hi Olga! I haven't read any online books lately. I guess I go in streaks and right now I have a stack of paper books I'm dying to read. :) Also, I find it hard for me to find time to read the ebooks simply because I'm personally tied to the computer then and I only get a small window of time to be there in the first place... usually that time is my writing time. :) So its kind of a trade off.

What ebooks did you get?

Yay on your email working again :) Hmmm, I don't read a lot of ebooks, just because I'm on the comp so much as it is.

At the moment, the answer to your question would have to be sunshine!

I get eyestrain with looking at the computer, so I'm not attracted to ebooks at all - and there's something nice about physically opening a book.

Hi Olga :) I don't know what I'd do without my computer! I haven't discovered anything recently--except I'm missing my family in the UK. Oh well!!

Cole, thanks for sharing. I suddenly got a big TBR pile of print books as well. Lots of reading to do! Good that I love it, lol.

Claire, yes, there's something about actually opening the book in your hands. I read some e-books because they are available only in e-format. Unfortunately, one can't cuddle with a computer...

Yay on the email - I know how that is and I had terrible withdrawal.

I prefer print over ebook simply because I don't like reading on the computer. I've tried printing out some of the books but others are just too long.

Bailey, thanks! And believe me, I had a huge withdrawal - apparently, I'm addicted to my e-mail. As for the e-book, I ended up printing the entire thing. I also have trouble reading on the computer.

I always end up printing them out, Olga...they're easier to store, but there's still something about turning a page :)

Marty, I'm glad I'm not the only one! Though you're right about storage - and imagine how easier it is when one moves!

I love e books and enlarge the print if I need to to make easier reading.

Nell, thanks for the input! And it's great to have you here again. To be honest, I decreased the print because, um, I tried to save on paper...
