First, huge apologies to all the wonderful people who e-mailed me during the last two weeks. My home Internet connection is not feeling well, so I can't work on Internet for more than 2 minutes. The same goes for missing the last week's post. I'm sorry and I mean it - I'm going through Internet withdrawals. How I managed to live without it before is beyond me now.
Another type of withdrawals I'm going through is the coffee type. Frankly, I'm used to a pot (or several) a day, so I'm really excercising my willpower here. I'm trying more tea, Diet Coke, water, and gum chewing. I'm also going for normal hours of sleep - apparently, it helps in order not to feel drowsy. But I still go back to my beloved coffee - just the rendevous (sp?) are not so often.
So have you had any bad habits you ever tried to kick out of your life? (And nope, I don't consider Internet a bad habit - it makes me happier without doing much damage to my body, so I consider it a very good habit. I just wish I had a better access to the Internet!) Care to share any recipes how to give up something that you're really attached to? I know, it's just coffee, but it's a morning ritual, too, and by now it's probably part of my blood flow.
Not having regular meals is a bad habit, because then I eat junk food which feels good for about 5 minutes (after that, I just wish I hadn't...)
